Platform Partnerships Manager (Hybrid Work)

Our Happy Company is building infrastructure and services for the creator economy to own the future of self expression and creativity. Our first product, OurSong is a social commerce platform where everyone can turn everyday creativity into tradable assets(NFT) and build super fan communities.

To leverage both the interoperability of NFT and the accessibility of web2 apps, we need to integrate not only the metaverse/web3 platforms but also the applications used in people’s daily life. The Platform Partnerships team is responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of Our Happy Company’s Partnership strategy globally. This includes developing strategies with our product and platform teams, scoping potential partnerships and negotiating contracts, developing deep relationships with external parties, and executing the deployment and ongoing growth of those partnerships. As a successful candidate you will have experience managing internal and external relationships and bringing structure to complex product problems. We’re looking for a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, and to work cross-organizationally to build agreement. An understanding of the economics of the blockchain/web3 space and the NFT ecosystem is a bonus.

You will:

  • Develop and execute Partnerships strategy to enhance and grow OurSong and other Our Happy Company’s products, including established and nascent aspects of Our Happy Company’s business
  • Work with product, marketing, account management, support, and partnership teams to identify and engage potential partners to enhance our product functionality and distribution
  • Build and manage strategic partner relationships within the metaverse/web3, eCommerce and community platforms space


You are:

  • A creative and structured problem solver, who can architect a cohesive partner strategy
  • A motivator, able to direct team members and external partners to accomplish a defined strategy
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal with experience presenting to senior management
  • A product-minded leader, with a passion for customer experience and outcomes

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in an operating role in business development, marketing, or product management
  • 2+ years of experience leading partner, sales, or business development teams at a technology company
  • Leadership and general management skills, especially in setting strategy, gaining agreement, and building a cohesive team
  • Experience developing long-term relationships with external partners
  • Product sense and experience launching new products/features
  • An ability to evaluate opportunities from strategic, brand, financial, and operational perspectives
  • Professional and technical knowledge of industry trends and the important players in the competitive landscape
  • Experience working in the blockchain/crypto/NFT industry is a bonus
  • The ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with diverse groups, spanning all organizational levels
